With helicopter taxi, you can land most places with an open area of 20x20m. However written landing permission is required. You as a customer is responsible for retrieving this from the owner of the property.
In Norway it is illegal to land in the mountains, wilderness, many islands and forests. In general unpopulated areas throughout the country falls in under thsi act. This is regulated in the Act on Motorized Traffic - "Motorferdselsloven" .
