Nr 2 - Inner Oslofjord

With a starting point from our place 30 min. south of Oslo we overhead Tusenfryd, and continue flight of historical flavor. The entrance to the inner Oslofjord. The Underwater Wall in front of Oscarsborg fortress is clearly visible from the air. Oscarsborg fortress with cannon "Moses" who sunk Blücher during World War II. On a good day you can also see that the oil still leaking from the ship. We continue north along the shoreline of the old ponds that were used is ice block production.
Over historical steps with the remnants of the old oil refinery plant at Steilene. We return over the west side of the fjord with Nærsnes, Sætre and Hurum. In the summer we see the bustling Boat life in the Sandspollen.
